The Parkway  Cottage Resort is a great place to start your trip or to base yourself from, the trail system starts right from the door of Hemlock Lodge 3 onto trail # 74 you can head West to Dwight, Huntsville, Parry Sound, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst etc., South to Dorset or North to Kearney and North Bay or for try the R.A.P. Tour (ride Around Algonquin Park.) and their is gas right here  The Algonquin Snowmobile Club is our area club in the Muskoka snowmobile region. at the Parkway Resort Store you can buy seasonal permits or 3 day permits for local trail conditions click here

X - COUNTRY SKI
X country skiing is available in the park on their km`s of ski trails or ski on the lake.
Don't forget to ask us for a discounted trail pass for the park.

Enjoy local and Park Trails. Visit www.algonquinoutfitters.com during the winter in Algonquin Park there are three ski trail networks of which two are groomed and track set these are fen lake, minnesing and leaf lake.

Rentals are available from Algonquin Outfitters. Snow shoe Ragged Falls Park  or the Beatle lake trail  here at oxtongue lake or us the Algonquin Park trails.

Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area, located in Huntsville about 20 minute drive down Highway 60 from Parkway Resort,  Hidden valley has 12 slopes, chair lifts and has  a great location for families to ski, and for those who want to learn.
