WINTER RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

In the winter there is snowmobiling on the lakes and trails around the oxtongue area, well groomed and non groomed ski-trails and snowshoeing trails nearby in Algonquin Park along with dog sledding at the east end of Algonquin Park and in Huntsville there is Hidden Valley ski slopes.

Also a snowmobile trail onto OFSC # 74 trail on the lake comes down through our site.

The trail is right on your door step of our new  Hemlock Lodge 3 which is our year round 3 bedroom unit and sleeps 6-7 people.

Also why not snowshoe up to Ragged Falls it is about a 20 minute walk and you get to see the spender of a frozen water fall. During the summer the water rushes over the top from the park and can be heard from miles around.
